“Born This Way” is the lead single by American recording artist Lady Gaga. from her highly anticipated second studio album, Born This Way. The song was written by Lady Gaga, and it was produced by Gaga, Fernando Garibay, and DJ White Shadow.  The single was released onto Gaga’s website for streaming on February 11, 2011. Receiving mixed reviews, Billboard was positive, commenting that the track “is an immediate dancefloor anthem that marries big beats with Gaga’s powerful, distinctive vocals and in-your-face lyrics about race and sexuality.” And the song proved them right, selling one million copies of digital downloads in five days, it was a commerial success. In the United States, it became her third single to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the 1000th number one single in the chart’s history, Gaga called it “the greatest honor of my career.” It also reached #1 in 13 countries.

“Favorite Girl” is the second digital single from Justin Bieber’s debut release, My World on November 4, 2009. The song is mid-tempo with pop and R&B elements and was written by D’Mile, Antea Birchett, Anesha Birchett, and Delisha Thomas also receive writing credits. The song had hot shot debuts , but limited stays on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100 due to the single being released via digital downloads only. Well known by his stage name, Bruno Mars was born Peter Gene Hernandez on October 8, 1985 and was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Bruno Mars is a Fil-American singer-songwriter and music producer.
